Certificate Policy

A certificate policy is a document that covers all the technical details of the digital certificates of the state of Iraq and refers to the licensed entity responsible for issuing digital certificates and the readiness of the digital certification infrastructure in Iraq.

The digital certificates content indicate the types of their use, the algorithms used in the encryption and the certificate policy version number, which is currently the first version. It also refers to the international standards adopted by issuing digital certificates in terms of issuing mechanism, cancellation, type, validity, and duration of each certificate type.
